Tamara Erde is a French-Israeli filmmaker based between Berlin and Paris.
Her documentary films deal with social and political questions around education, conflict resolution and history. Her work has been presented and nominated in main film festivals (TIFF, Rotterdam, Clermont Ferrand, Hong Kong int.,…) and distributed in cinemas and TV channels worldwide (BBC, FR TV, ARTE, ZDF,…).
Amongst her feature documentary films is “This is my land” (2015) distributed in cinemas in France and in numerous TVs worldwide, “Looking for Zion” coproduced by the ZDF (2018) and “After the evil” which is to be distributed in cinemas in 2025.
She is also working as a documentary director for several international TV stations including ARTE, the BBC, ARD, France TV and more.
In parallel to her work as a director, Tamara has written several scripts and is participating regularly in art residencies, creating collaborative projects for galleries and theatres worldwide.
She currently develops a drama series produced by Alef One UK and in post-production of a prime-time documentary for ARTE, to be broadcasted in 2025.
